DAY ONE
November 1st/2nd
At 5:30pm on Sunday, November 1st, Carey, Cory, Joe & Kelly were unveiled at Hudsons Canadian Taphouse on Bourbon Street in West Edmonton Mall. This was the first time the general public knew who would be Living In It To Win It for up to 12 days... and the first time they knew who they would be competing against!
Daily Challenge
Hudsons Blazin' Wing Challenge + 2 Pints
Carey opted to sit this one out due to medication she's on. The boys were off and Joe took a COMMANDING lead pounding back some wings and the first pint. Cory's approach... Slow & steady. Joe hit a rut which allowed Kelly to come from behind and catch up. Joe was down to 1 pint and Kelly 1 pint and a few wings... Joe couldn't finish the 2nd half of his last pint which allowed Kelly to steal the challenge and the private bed from Morinville Home Furniture!
First Night
Kelly hopped in the back and never looked back... sleeping 8 consecutive hours! The other 3? Well, they got caught off guard with the mall alarm system going off at 2am. Cory claims he didn't get more than 30 minutes of sleep consecutively! Winner... definitely Kelly.
Breakfast/Lunch
Booster Juice dropped by and gave the contestants a Tuna scramber and Booster Juice! All wrappers and Booster Juice cups are still and will remain in the truck until all is said and done. Thanks to Hudsons Canadian Tap House for supplying Steak and Fries for lunch... the truck is beginning to smell like STEAK. Which is welcomed by the majority of contestants... smells better then Kelly!
Daily Challenge
K-97 BUBBLE HOCKEY CHAMPIOSHIPS! Recreation World Home & Billiard supplied us with an IceBoxx Dome Hockey game and the Championships began. We randomly selected names out of a hat for the first two heats, Kelly vs. Cory & Carey vs. Joe.
Semi-Finals
Cory 5 Kelly 1
Carey 5 Joe 4
FINALS
Cory 10 Carey 4
Cory "The Champ" Cremer was once ranked #2 in Alberta at Bubble Hockey... and he wins the luxury of his own private bed tonight!
On top of that... the Ice Boxx Dome Hockey Game has been added to the Grand Prize! The last remaining contestant will not only drive away in the Chevy Silverado, but also the Bubble Hockey game!
First One OUT!
At 6:11pm (just over 24 hours... by 11 minutes), Joe Rucchin opened the doors and walked away from the competition! Joe cited the "un"-cleanliness of the competition combined with losing the competition and sitting another 24 hours in the crammed vehicle was the deciding factor.
ONLY THREE REMAIN with 11 days to go!
